AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Bus transportation is available at 4:30 pm,
dropping students at
Pringle, Lee, Sumpter, Wiltsey and Woodside, and Robins Lane .
$5.00 per class.


Please be prompt in picking your student up and make transportation arrangements in advance

TUESDAY ACTIVITIES Pages and Pizza - Room 402
Bring your favorite book and we'll provide your favorite pizza! Come and enjoy reading a great book, have a fun discussion with friend and munch on delicious pizza. Instructor: Mrs. Hill  

Dodge Ball - Cafeteria
Get ready to rumble!!! Come and join us for a fast, competitive, and fun Dodge Ball experience. The object of the game is to eliminate the opposing team. Once you are eliminated you have to rely on your teammates to return you to the game. If you enjoy playing dodge ball during lunch, this is the class for you. Bring it on!!  Foosball/Board Games and Cards - Room 406
Smack! Ting! Score! No spinning allowed. That's right, foosball is back! If you think you can take on Judson's best players, bring it on OR challenge your friends with your favorite card game OR see who can get to the end first in a fun board game. Instructor: Mr. Perez

  Speed, Agility and Quickness - Auxillary Gym
Students will work on all aspects of conditioning. You will be tested on various skills, speed and strength, then work to improve those skills over the next few weeks. This is a very physically demanding class, and students are expected to be in workout clothes each day. Come ready to work hard, and get faster and stronger. Students may want to bring their own water bottles, to replace the fluids they will lose from sweating so much. This would be a great class for those getting ready to come out for track or another spring sport. This is a two day class. Tuesday and Thursday for 1 class price. Instructors - Mrs. Hayward and Mr. Mahi


  WEDNESDAY ACTIVITIES

Beading and Jewelry Making - Library
Learn how to make earrings, necklaces and bracelets. You will be using beads, stones, clay and shrink material to make jewelry for yourself or to give friends for gifts. What a great way to make your own fashion statements.
Instructor: Mrs. Ogilvie and Mrs. Shaw
 

Movie Club - Room 203
Watch your favorite movies with your friends while munching on snacks.We will be showing the newest realeases and/or students choice from our movie library. Only G movies will be shown. Instructor: Mrs. Williams
 

Fishing Class - Room 200
Trout stream Ecology. Identifying good fishing locations to make your day of fishing more fun and successful. Learn how to keep your waters clean and which stream have what kind of fish, learn about where the safest fish are to eat. Limit 10 students. Instructor: Same Caliva from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife  

Volleyball - Maing Gym
Bump, Set, Spike!! Mrs. Flager will be running a round robin volleyball tournament. You can have 3-4 on a team with ribbons for the winning team. Sign up individually and be placed on a team, or sign up as a team. 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys are welcome. See you there and good luck! Instructor: Mrs. Flager Limit 24 students


  Rocket Making and Launching Class - Room 209
3,2,1 we have lift-off. Join the Judson Rocket Club to build and launch rockets and learn about rocketry and space flight. Instructor: Mr. Schaefer  

Babysitting Certification Class - Room 211
Want to make money? Campfire is offera a babysitting class. You will learn some skills to become a trusted and valued babysitter. You will learn some basic feeding techniques, how to comfort a crying baby, lean some fun game to play with toddlers and many other tools to become a great babysitter. Instructor: Campfire Mouse Trap Cars - Room 314Come and learn how to take a household tool and turn it into a fun car. You will dismantle the mouse trap and by using simple objects create your own wooden car. Instructor: Campfire  

Reading and Rootbeer - Room 207
Grab your favorite book and join us for a fun , relaxing time after school. After reading some and some sharing with friends about your book, enjoy a rootbeer float. Instructor: Mrs. Burlison

Get your girl friends, favorite slippers and join us for a girls movie time. We will have popcorn and pop for snack, watch a chick flick and have a fun time with just the girls. Then on the last class we will have a pajama party. Bring your comfy (appropriate) pajamas and favorite snack. Only G movies will be shown. Instructor: Mrs. Ogilvie


  Fly Tying/Fising Class - Room 108
Like the challenge of fly fishing? Come and learn the art of fly tying. You will learn to make your own, take them home and next time you to fishing you will be proud as you catch that big fish using the fly you made yourself. The Angler and Aquatic Education Program integrates education and recreation, introducing beginning anglers to fishing in a safe, fun and responsible manner. The program covers basic angling skills, angler ethics and responsibilities, aquatic resouces, and water safety. We will be learning about equipment, casting methods, fish idendification, water regulation and catch and realease. Limit 10 students. Instructor: Sam Caliva from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife
